Project: 1MW Solar PPA Agreement
Client: Downings Plc
Ecotech were the principle contractor for the design, construct and commissioning of approx. a 1MW portfolio of ground mounted Solar Array for Yorkshire Water as part of a PPA agreement with Downings Plc.
The 1MW of solar was distributed across 5 Yorkshire Water Waste Treatment plants across Southern Yorkshire.
Project: Carland Cross Hybrid Solar, Wind and Battery Site
Client: Scottish Power Renewables
Scottish Power Renewables is the asset owner and operator of Carland Cross Windfarm, located near Newquay in Cornwall. The site consists of 10 x Gamesa G80 2MW Wind Turbine Generators, 1MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) which is located adjacent to the existing Carland Cross Windfarm Control Building.

Ecotech’s contract included construction and formation of two platforms for the BESS and Switchgear, including suitable fencing, access to the proposed platforms from the existing road and electrical ducting works. Installing of Solar Array, and upgrade and repair of the turbines.

Project: Slough Data Centre
Client: Jones Engineering
Ecotech have upgraded the fire suppression and sprinkler system, electrical wiring upgrades and containment for Jones Engineering in a Data Centre in Slough, as part of there contract with Microsoft.
Project: 850KW Rooftop Solar
Client: Hartnol Farm
Ecotech were appointed as principle contractor to design, construct and commission 850kw rooftop solar, and 2-year operation and maintenance contract.
